Sean Dyche.
Hate the bloke.

Never fucking admits his team is shit when they lose.

Up there alongside Mark Hughes and Sam Allardyce in the massive wanker category.

Re: Sean Dyche.
Think he's a decent manager, to be honest.

If he looked and sounded like Eddie Howe then the media would love him.

It's generally a good sign if supporters of other teams don't like your manager, too.

Re: Sean Dyche.
I could take his bleating about kouyate and the goal if it wasn't obviously him who told his players to kick our players up in the air every time we start a dangerous looking attack and fake head injuries every five minutes to disrupt our play.

With all that in mind I have no sympathy.

Re: Sean Dyche.
I like the cut of Dyche's jib. In fact my default position is to automatically like anything stoneman dislikes.

As regards his disputing our goal that is standard fare for any manager. Dyche runs a low budget team and he has twice got Burnley promoted. He does not even have the budget of Eddie Howe, Moyes or Phelan but he is keeping Burnley competitive. Good luck to him.

He complained that West Ham players constantly feigned injury and were a disgrace.

Don't mind him to be honest. Sounds like he needs to clear his throat though.

Re: Sean Dyche.
I've always really liked him except for the fact he sounds like he needs to hock up a fuck load of phlegm

But last night they played that cynical mourinho style football I can't stand - niggky fouls, feigning injury etc and slowing th game down. It was embarrassing. Really went down in my estimations and tonthen bleat on about the penalty (Antonio did not foul the keeper, though kouyate may have hand balled) when we should have had another one and they got away with a lot elsewhere I. The pitch is just sour grapes

Re: Sean Dyche.
Eddie Howe is a top manager and I still think he might take over from Wenger and be England manager one day (not that that job is prestigious anymore).

Sean Dyche is whining, winging, cheating shit who will knock around the yo yo clubs for the whole of his career channeling the spirit of Pulis and Allardyce.

Please don't confuse these two.

Re: Sean Dyche.
Well, if I was a Burnley fan, I'd like my manager. A hell of a lot worse out there performing terribly on much bigger budgets. Of course he criticises us and plays up his own team performance after a loss. Of course we then 'hate' him. That's part of his job. I think Aston Villa, Birmingham, Ipswich, Blackburn, Wolves fans etc... etc... who also slate him, need a manager like that to get up. Anyway, who gives a shit I guess, other than twice a season.

Re: Sean Dyche.
I admire what he has done in taking a two bit team like Burnley into the Premier League with few resources ....... BUT ....
you have to compare him to someone like HOWE who has done the same thing with similar resources by playing PWOPA FOOTBALL.

Burnley's tactics seemed to be time waste at 0-0 with endless 'head injuries' and when behind attack by putting everyone on the edge of our area and hit long straight balls into the MIXER.

Fivetide 11:50 Thu Dec 15
Re: Sean Dyche.
Yeah, unattractive tactics. But he nearly got a point away against a team with far, far better players. If he had tried to play football against us, we'd have won easily. Because we have better footballers.

Rossal 11:51 Thu Dec 15
Re: Sean Dyche.
I dont mind him

He knows if he goes toe to toe with the rest of the league he hasnt got the players to do it so he set thems up a certain way and plays to it

Good young manager who would be interesting to see at a 'bigger' club with better players

Re: Sean Dyche.
People say that but managers seem to manage the same way whoever they have.
Allardyce had Jay Jay Okocha (YES HE DID) and used him to play long straight balls at Kevin Davies and follow up for knock downs.

Re: Sean Dyche.
I appreciate that his squad man for man is inferior to most, so I'd excuse him for his defensive tactics, I'd even let him off some of his player's more agricultural challenges and the fact they consistantly feigned head injury when they lost possession to stifle our play, if that's what he feels his team has to do to pick up points in this league that's understandable.

However, what isn't excusable is doing all of that and then having the bare fucking ginger faced cheek to disrespect the opposition players and accuse them of behaving inappropriately. The fat hypocritical ginger mother fucker.

Re: Sean Dyche.
Being a fan of under dogs I've never really minded him. I saw him play against us for Bristol City a few times, he was a bang average centre half. I said to my son last night at the match that players going down now with 'head injuries' seems to be a current tactic creeping in to break up play. Speaking of which, did anyone see Vokes go down in the corner of our area in the first half, holding his head, when he wasn't even touched?
